    Harbor Freight motorcycle lift

Does anyone here use harbor freights 1000lb steel motor cycle lift? How does it compare to pro/heavy duty shop lift?

I had one in the past.

it did a good job, however I would replace the wheel clamp as it is worthless.

I have one. It's ok - but for the $$ it's great and it's worked fine for 5 or 6 years now.

It's not as stable/confidence inspiring as a shop lift. I've never had an issue... but I always wonder. At some point I'll upgrade - but it's been a great value over the years.

Agree with Joe - the wheel clamp is useless. I took it off and put my bike on stands. Dirt bikes get secured with tie downs.

I bought a Pro Lift 11 years ago, use it weekly, if not daily. Never had a single problem..... Great unit. Great quality build, and strength..... best motorcycle tool purchase/investment that I have ever made.
