Factory resole does offer a "Heavy Duty" harder MX type sole they cut to shape & put on street boots. I don't know anyone who has had that done personally. The soles are available through Speedin' Motorsports 1-505-215-0985 for a great price or other certain vendors. I can say DO NOT have the clowns at Dave's Shoe Repair in Arvada do the repair: http://www.yelp.com/biz/daves-shoe-repair-arvada-2 . Dave and his helper are short on skills, and take ZERO pride in their work. I am having mine resoled again at a different shop, so I will let you know how it works out.
