I bought this from Dodd Jacobsen back around the end of the season with a known problem, that I haven't gotten around to fixing - and now I'm not sure if I'm going to or just cut my losses. It was initially diagnosed as a miss under acceleration, and even after being looked at/worked on by several people it was never completely fixed. I have subsequently re-diagnosed it to most likely a bent transmission fork in 3rd gear. Fine in every other gear, but it does try to jump out of gear under acceleration in 3rd.
I paid $2900 for it and sold off a couple of the tidbits that went with it... so new price is:

2003 Yamaha R6 (Formerly Pete Emerlys bike) Motor has non matching numbers to the frame, unknown internal work. Comes with an old CO title, however it has been signed by several people since its sale from name on the title so I’m not sure if it can be re-titled.

Currently shod with a set of Pirelli slicks- only two MV races on them
Bike is fully wired and MRA tech legal. Could be gridded up right now as it stands without issue.
Bike pulls hard and brakes great.
The bike is amazing for its age and with fresh IRDAVE love on the suspension it handles like a dream.

SO- If you have a MRA license and a set of leathers I have everything you need to go racing in the next round in NOVU, NOVO, AMU, AMO, MVU, MVO, MWE, HWE, Ladies of the Rockies (If YOU are so properly equipped) and I’m sure a bunch I’m forgetting.
