Anyone happen to get any pictures or video of me playing in the dirt during the NovU race in T4? If so I'd really like to see it. Thanks!

I really hope that the comment of "Playing in the Dirt" is not meant to be a funny thing........Originally Posted by Smitty

I know that crashes are a serious matter and people can get badly injured from them, which I very gratefully that no one had to take an ambulance ride because of it. I wasn’t talking about anyone else’s wreck or making fun of them by saying they were “playing in the dirt”, I was talking about myself because both my bike and I were very dirt afterwards. So I don’t think I’m in the wrong here. Also, I don’t see the harm in bringing some humor to a bad situation.
If I have made you mad or offended you by my words then I apologize and it was not my intent. If you would like to discuss this or the accident further then we can. I don’t believe the accident to be my fault but if it is I’d like to know so I can make corrections so that I don’t make that mistake again. Another reason I want the pictures and videos to see if it was something I did wrong.
Thanks!
I understand where you are coming from..... No worries.
I just hope that no one thinks that Saturday's red flag situations were anything funny.
Believe it or not... I was smiling as I typed the quoted reply to your first post.

I was surpirsed to see the rider down the lane from me had crashed and when I went to check on Rene, they were unloading two more bikes from the trailer. Not a good situation but as far as I've heard there were no serious injuries.
Smitty,
you guys were keeping a great pace in front of me as usual, and being 7 seconds back from the fun, this is what I saw:

I'm glad to hear that you all are still ok considering... I hate seeing a bike layed down and sitting on the track in the race line - hope this helps a little.

Tom's video helps explain it a bit. Combine that with my clip (the first link that Jim's got up above) and you see the other rider run wide at 4s, drop speed, and I slipped underneath him. Switch to Tom's video, and I presume that rider came back into the race line, probably slower than the approaching pack, and Smitty had nowhere to go.
