We've become a dealer for Intercomp- a company in Minnesota that manufactures measuring equipment for the car racing industry. They made our spring rate tester and are known for corner balancing scales for the car guys. They also make tire pressure gauges here in the US.
We picked up a midrange line, with the 2.5" gauge being $50 and the 4" gauge being $60.
This last weekend, I checked 3 of the gauges against the Vanmar reference gauge and they came up dead nuts on. Good enough that Mike Applehans bought one to use as a reference for his customers with Continental tires.
We have them in 2 different ranges- 0-60 for the sport bike tires and 0-30 psi for the dirt bike crowd.
I don't know that anyone doubts the necessity of a good tire pressure gauge- and these were the most affordable gauges that work reliably we could find- because tires are expensive enough- and only wear faster at the wrong pressure.
