And while I'd love to be competitive - with all of em - if Im a MPH or 2 slower - it still wont diminish the good time!
I had my 07 out in completely factory fresh trim at IMI and it was an absolute blast. the suspension and tires made for a interesting ride, but if I can get those things straightened out, the little thing will be awesome! right now I am sitting at ~$600 total in my 07...

Just hit 31.8 HPs, course thats with a little nitro in the fuel just for fun. However now that I have done 4 of these tiddlerbikes I can tell you all are basically with in 1.5 HPs of each other and strangely enough they all run a little different with differences in jetting needs and powerbands even though they all have the same pipes but the racing will come down to the rider so I am screwed.

    Bart,

Have you done any older ones (pre 08 or even pre 03) to see how they compare?

I'm planning on doing the camo thing like my ZX6....no one will ever see it or the ugly....which is why I should put a yellow flashing light on the back of both bikes so you guys don't run me over.

Hey Bart, have you done a baseline on an '08+ with stock everything?

All stockers are about 24.5 and the power falls off unlike a pipe setup.

Wow that is quite a large swing for just an exhaust. I assume they have all been Area P systems, any info on any of the other manufacturers?

The full Muzzy blows and I have made a slipon out of a FMF pipe for a TTR225 that worked pretty well and thats about it so far. I want to try the Leo and see what it does and right now Leo is doing a sale if anybody is looking. Schrammy has a Yosh slip on his but have not yet had the chance to run it and see what it does.

I'll probably want to get mine on the rollers sometime this winter...seat-of-the-pants doesn't always cut it...the only thing, pulling the airbox to get the carbs out is a huge PITA

Hopefully my one-off 2-1 doesn't rob too much power...right now it has stock (sea-level?) jetting 38/105 IIRC, which is prob a little fat...I'm hoping I'm at least in the ballpark of the new ones...

You don't pull the airbox to remove the carbs, you remove the carb boots.

I had to loosen the airbox to make enough room to almost be able to get the boots off...still took a prying device and a few words of encouragement...I think I got it down to ~20 min, but it would be ALOT easier with pod filters

Casey's drafting the final version. Basically what we've talked about is the following WILL be allowed. If it isn't listed, it isn't allowed:

    Bodywork
    Windscreen
    Clipons
Hand Controls (levers, NOT Master Cylinders)
    Rearsets
    Foot Controls (NO Quick Shifters)
    Pipe
    Jetting
    Ride height adjustment in rear
    Preload adjustment in front
    Brake Lines

Pre '08 MAY replace wheels with wheels from Post '08's - OR may swap out EX500 Front End and wheels. EX500 Rear shock may also be used instead of stock on Pre '08's as well.

With the exception of the stock kickstand mount (which you MAY cut off due to ground clearance issues), all other metal removal must be at traditional mounting points (ie: you can not hack off the subframe with a saw...).

Wiring removal must be at stock connectors.

    Charging system must work.

Street Legal - Gas Station Style PUMP Gas ONLY!

Stock Airbox WITH snorkel attached and functional.

Casey will see this no doubt, and can finalize the details for ya.

On a positive note, looks like there are already at least 15 of these bikes built, or being built, for 2011!

The snorkel SIGNIFICANTLY restricts the airflow to the motor. So much so, that it would be silly to make internal mods (cheat) to the motor. You wouldn't get enough air in to make a difference. Take the snorkel off, and it's a totally different ballgame.

    Makes sense, I guess

I assume removing the Kleen Air plumbing and blocking off of said such is allowed?

Yep, forgot to add that. The PAIR mod is ok. Most of the bikes we brought back from CA already had that done anyway.
