The oldest racer who ran with the MRA in 2010 is almost 70 (69). We had nine 2010 racers in their 60's, thirty-six who are 50 or older. 8)Originally Posted by jmaher

At 49 I'm having more fun racing than when I was 29! Hell I might even be faster!

I started this year too, just sneakin up on 40, but I have the emotional maturity of a 12 year old and the back of an 80 year old. Im hoping the really old guys will eventually start forgetting where they grid at, but they just seem to get faster and crash less.

I got my first racing license this year at the April certification school, 19 years old. Its a shame, I didnt get to race a single event, though, because I like cornerworking too much.
I'll be an old guy racer in 40 years.
