Anyone else using a GoPro HD Hero Wide? If so, what video editing software are you using? Windows Movie Maker sucks (won't accept HD .mp4 files - thus the crappy quality in the YouTube vid).

Louis, all my front facing helmet footage is aimed so far down that you cannot see anybody. I think the camera got bumped while I was putting it on and the camera just faces straight down. bummer.

I got little 5 second clips of your back and rear tire. Then nothing for a while.

Thats the bad part about the go pro is that you don't know how good the shot is until you are already done. Unless you bring a laptop with you.

Glad you like it man. It would have been done sooner but work was busy this week.

Drew, Sony Vegas is the only program that will edit MP4's directy. Adobe premiere doesn't touch them and other ones have to convert it first. YouTube loves MP4's so even if you upload AVI it converts them back to MP4 container with an H.264 codec. I got the torrent for Vegas so let me know. Editing HD video is no small task.

i usually do bring a laptop with me, so i can study the race right after i get off the track and see where im faster/slower than my competitors while the race is still fresh in my mind
