    Absence makes the heart grow fonder...

    I am sorry to announce that I will have to miss the inaugural race at HPR. I debated attending all week. It came down to having to make a decision based on common sense and good judgment. (new territory)
    Due to the greater degree of surgical invasiveness, and the slower degree of my healing, I feel, and my surgeon insists, that I spend my days inactive, iced, elevated and medicated.
    Kyle Isker has generously offered to fill in for me this weekend. I have the utmost confidence in his ability.
