    Idea help for trailer set-up

Looking for some ideas on how to secure my generator inside my trailer for transport. Trying not to strap it against the wall. Thinking something like a bracket or attachment point on the floor and a hole drilled into the generator frame that would match up with the bracket........ Anyone found something that works good without leaving a large permanent footprint on the floor??? Want to put it in the front right side of the trailer.... Any ideas would be appreciated. Pics would also be great if possible.

    Thanks!

This might sound off, but I simply stuff it up front, and pack riding bags around it. They are soft enough and weigh enough to keep it in place. We haul two bikes in a 6 x 12v vee nosed single axle trailer and it's worked for the last three years.

Well, I guess this is considered strapping it to the wall but I just put e-track on the wall and use a tie down to go from one side to the other which hooks into rings on each side....

I got mine pretty cheap like this on ebay.

Have you considered putting up on the V part of the tounge of the trailer? I've seen this done with a couple steel straps and some tie downs. Or just cut a v shaped piece of wood to fit and lash it down with some racheting tiedowns, regardless your probably smart for wishing to secure it.

I did look at that option, but it won't work with the spare tire mounted there too... Appreciate the idea though!

I drilled 4 eye bolts into the floor in the right places so it doesn't slide forward/back, side/side. I run a tie-down over the generator and into 2 eye bolts. It hasn't moved yet...and I do this on an open landscape trailer.
