I'm putting this back up for sale hoping someone can get more use out of it than I do. I have neither the time nor the energy to maintain two motorcycles, and I guess this is the one that needs to go.

I've reduced my asking price to $2,500. Now $1,900 as of 8/21/12

The bike is a '99R1 completely race prepped, safety wired, etc. It's ready to race tomorrow. When I got it, it was running a bit rich and had a battery charging problem. I fixed the battery problem (bad connector) and left it rich. In every other respect it's ready to ride and needs nothing. In addition to the basic bike, I also have a spare rear wheel already mounted with a tire plus another set of tires with about 10 laps on them. You could ride track days all year with the rubber I have and probably not have to buy a tire. I also have a second set of body work.

It's basically stock as far as I can tell with the exception of a can and rearsets. No title.

I gave $3,200 for it. I'll take $1,900
