Best folding aluminum ramp local or internet

What is the best ramp, safest, and low cost? I would like a folding aluminum type but I'm not sure what width is the best. I can figure the length required but since I don't have much experience with them, I thought the forum could help out with this. The AF-9012 from discount ramps looks okay. Any thoughts?

Depends on what you are loading onto... I load onto a trailer and have this one:

Works great and I love that it is solid so I can run the bike up one side and walk up the other without falling through a ladder style one.

It probably won't work for loading into a pickup bed as its a bit short for that pickup is higher up than the trailer I have.

I have an F-250 and it's tall at the tailgate. If you have a 1/2 ton this ramp might be fine.

I've been using this one and haven't had any issues with it.

I had the same bi-fold kind that luke uses, really stable and easy to use. Stay away from the ATV style with big spaces between rungs, I had a friend accidentally slip and catch his foot in those harbor freight ladder type ramps, dropped the bike and nearly sprained an ankle.

Thanks for the advice! It's such a trivial subject considering the whole of a race day....but I thought it was an important topic seeing there are many types to choose from.

I am using a ReadyRamp. I like it. It is ladder style, has two hinges, and doubles as a tailgate / bed extender. The bed extender is nice as it gives you somewhere to put the ramp as well as holds in your loose bits in the bed of the truck. Storage is also nice. I hang it, folded, on the wall in the garage.

It is single track so I walk along side it to load and use a crate to step up into the bed while loading.

    Available online and 4x4 stores.

Be sure whatever ramp you chose to use a tie down to hold the ramp in place to the truck while (un)loading. Paranoid perhaps, but wouldn't want to knock the ramp out of position while (un)loading.
