If you haven't included your transponder number on your license application or updated me through email/PM, you will not be entered into the brand new timing computer.

Rentals will still be $50 for the weekend unless I hear differently from our illustrious board.

Would it be OK if I just yell out a number as I go by? Or make the proper binary code gesture?

Don't worry Chris. The shouting at start/finish is undoubtedly beneath a woman of your caliber, character, and usually your feet! Hehehe.

New transponders can be purchased through MyLaps at the following website: http://www.mylaps.com/index.php/us_e.../B2C/bike/shop . I would strongly recommend the direct power as it does not require any maintenance once installed to switched power on the bike. The rechargeable units require approximately 14 hours to charge before a a race weekend as well as the same charging if you're not racing to keep up the health of the battery.

If you're considering a used transponder, watch the WERA forum classifieds and the classifieds on this forum like a hawk. When they are listed, they usually sell very quickly and they also retain a lot of their original value.

If you have any questions, please feel free to contact me via PM, email, or cell phone. Additional contact info: http://www.mra-racing.org/index.cfm?action=contact

    Hope this helps,
