    2009 Kawasaki 250RR (RACE READY) - SOLD

    ***SOLD***

I bought this as a used bike from Fay Myers just before the beginning of this season. Currently has approx 2,800 miles.

I've since, with the help of Steve from Mad-Moto, added the following...

SS brake lines (front and rear)
    Armour Bodies bodywork
    Professional paint by PVMotorsports
    - Color = "murdered out" according to Autumn Young
    SSR race gas cap
    ASV short/black levers
    Woodcraft clip-ons
    Woodcraft rearsets
    Woodcraft custom pipe hanger
    Leo Vince full race pipe
    - Tuned by Bart @ Faster (31hp)
    - Yeah, 31hp is actually high for this class
    TechSpec tank grip
    Slightly heavier fork oil
Slightly raised front & rear to provide clearance for hard bits
Ridiculous, gaudy stickers w/ my name plastered all over
    - Note - These probably worth the price alone!
    Etc...
    Etc...
    Etc...

I also have ALL stock/street bits (i.e. lights, turn signals, etc) sitting in a big box at Mad-Moto. I never got around to selling this stuff off, but can only imagine it would all fetch $500 - $1k if properly placed on eBay.

I'm selling because I'm one of the rare few that can't seem to hop off a "small" bike and onto a "big" bike and vice versa. Seem to be using brake markers that I shouldn't be on the 250 and NOT using brake markers that I should be on the R6! <-- read, turn 4 @ HPR pucker moment

The bike is in GREAT shape and only has six sprint races on it. I did two rounds w/ MRA and one round with RMMM (Rocky Mtn Mini-Moto) in the 17" wheel class.

I did have a very slow and minor low-side get off @ PPIR, so there is a small amount of rash on the right side. This has been conveniently covered up by two Corsa Components stickers.

Racing the 250 is VERY cheap, fun and amazingly competitive. You can run multiple classes in both MRA and RMMM. I'm asking $3,750 for the bike. Get in touch with me if interested...

Will have this out @ HPR for next round. If interested, make me a reasonable offer and you can take it home.

You are welcome to race it in CO class or LWGP if you'd like to test the goods.

    Bike still for sale?
How hard is it to switch fairings back to street and lights back on?
    Current mileage?
What color are the Street Fairings?
    Thanks

Just saw this. Please e-mail or text me w/ additional questions as I'm hardly on here (david.p.mobley@gmail.com / 720.235.7744).

Yes, bike is still for sale. The bike had 2k miles when I bought it. I've raced it this season at 5 rounds for the two 250 production races. 10 races at approx 24 miles per race (guesstimate) would put it around 2240 miles.

I had an absolute BLAST at the last HPR round and was able to nab a 4th place finish, which is good for my slow arse. That being said, I'm reluctant to sell her, but cash is king!

Send me a note if interested --

PS... I'll have it at PPIR if you want a test ride. Hell, sign up for LWGP or CO Class and you can have a test race on it.

Dang, guess I should have answered all your questions.

Street fairings are black like the tank and race fairings. Not sure how hard it would be to get all of the street bits back on, but I can't imagine it would be too difficult.

It has a clean and clear title, so I'm guessing you could actually just get a light and blinkers and run it on the street w/ the race fairings and maybe sell them on eBay?

This thing has been sitting in the garage all winter taking up space.

Not able to race it this season and need to off-load it to pay for other 'stuff'. One final price drop to move it out of the garage. $3,750.

Hate to see the black stallion go, but I'm sure someone will enjoy the heck out of it in the Ninja Cup this season.

Let me know if you have any questions --

    PS... I don't check PM's often, so PLEASE e-mail me @ david.p.mobley@gmail.com - Thanks

    Bumpage.

Got a nice bloke in New Mexico that will prob be picking the bike up next weekend.

However, I have to meet him half-way and I'm lazy. That being said, make me an offer and I might bite on a local sale.

Sizzold! To a nice bloke out of Portland.

Sad to see this one roll, but you gotta do what you gotta do right?

Now to start braking into turn 4 again on the big(ger) bike!
