Round 4 Pre-Entry Deadline Approaches

Hello MRA!

We’re very excited, Round 4 at Pueblo Motorsports Park is right around the corner, July 9-10. Don’t forget this week is the deadline to sign up online for race pre-entry. Great news--Pueblo track management plans a full repave by April 2012, plus other paddock improvements. This is our only round at Pueblo this year, we need the whole club to show up and let them know we’re excited about the work they’re doing for us! Let’s give this track our support and show them we’ll be back in force on the new pavement.

*Important information if you plan to arrive at Pueblo before Saturday*
Two other organizations have rented the track on Friday July 8th, and we must follow their rules/fees if we arrive on Friday.

#1 Judy Faass Friday Bikes Only Track Day: if you plan to practice on Friday you need to pre-register with Faasst Performance by this Friday July 1st. $120/full day only. If you DO NOT pay to ride Friday you MAY NOT enter the paddock until 3pm on Friday. Friday is a private track rental for the Faasst Performance Bike Day, not a private MRA day.

$120 for full day, no half day pricing. Track hot at 8am.

#2 Friday evening Pueblo is rented for Friday Night Drags, if you arrive Friday late afternoon/evening you must pay the gate ticket and you are a guest of the drag event. Friendly reminder that we MUST NOT park South of the playground area on Friday night. This area is reserved for the drag guys and their event. If you park there, they will have you move. If you park there and leave, your vehicle and trailer will be towed. *Some MRA racers plan to drag race their bikes at the event, for those that do they will pay the drag race entry fees and may park with the drag racers.*

Note that Friday Night Drags is getting tremendous spectator attendance, more than 1000 people. Please DO NOT leave your bikes/tools/gear outside unattended Friday evening in the pits, lock it up.

Is there a "window" on Friday when we can get in to drop off a trailer w/o paying the gate fee? After 3pm and before?? or does FND start collecting gate fees promptly at 3pm?

"Expect" to pay the $5 regardless of when you arrive after 3:00 pm. If you are able to "shoot the gap" in gate coverage - good on ya.

MRA racers as of today we're also seeing low racer pre-entries for Pueblo, don't forget tomorrow is the deadline. Please remind your forgetful pitmates they have until end of Friday to pre-enter online, thanks for helping us get everyone registered!

$10 to get in unless you stop by an area dealer and get a 2-1 coupon. All shops in the area have them.

Full paddock access - good for both days!
