Galleries from July 30 and 31 races at HPR will be updated as I complete my edits. You can expect to see at least one new gallery (hopefully more) every day for the next few days. As you may know, I individually edit each and every photo that makes it through my sort. This is a very time consuming process. Your patience is appreciated!

I was out at HPR for both days this past weekend (7/30 and 7/31). Due to a MFA (micro focus adjustment) issue on Saturday, I'll likely be offering all of those full-res photos for free.

Also, I'm getting my shutter speeds down to 1/100th and 1/125th, so you guys will be getting some sweet motion blurs.

Don't get too excited... my micro focus adjustment was set to an incorrect value all day Saturday. In a nutshell, this means that even when the camera thinks it has locked focus on the subject, it is actually a smidgen out of focus.

At 4x6 printing, and most desktop resolutions (1024x768, 1920x1280, etc.), it *should* be undetectable. However, at full resolution it is obvious - meaning enlarged prints would look atrocious. As a result I've made the decision not to charge for those photos.

Thank you all for a great 2011 season! As things cool down I'm getting hammered with a lot of portrait calls as the holiday season gears up. But I promise to be back out there shooting you all again next spring. I also updated my website and used a ton of photos from the races to populate my racing gallery.
