    Ninja 250 kickstand mount ?

Is it possible & safe to run the bike w/the kickstand mount unaltered? I'm trying to weezle my way into running Alicia's bike, but she enjoys riding it on the street, thus I need to retain the kickstand mount... I'm not a super fast guy, and don't "corner low".... but want to make sure it's doable and safe for everyone... thoughts?

If you leave it on, you will crash because of it. You heard it here first...

you need to take the whole thing off. I mean to the frame like it wasn't there. These things drag.

I suggest you make it bolt back on. Just cut the thing off at the factory welds to the frame. Then just drill two holes in the top of the original kickstand mount. You'll be able to bolt it on and off with just two bolts(i'd say 12mm) You'll have to tap the frame(need to weld them in) ....or run a bolt straight through. i just looked at mine and there is room to clear the chain behind there with a bolt. I'd bolt straight through

hope to see you out there

Thanks Fairbanks... I'll look it over and see if it's doable, but I might sit out the 250 stuff for now, concentrate on manly machines in the bigger classes
