    2007 GSX-R 750 Radiator

I currently have distilled water in my bike from when I was getting i ready for the track. I have since purchased a track bike so its time to put coolant back in. However, I am having a really hard time disconnecting the hose to drain the water that is currently in there. I do not want to yank on the hose and possibly tear it. Does anyone have any suggestions? And yes I already loosened the clamps.

coolant drain plug located at the top of the water pump. Fill with coolant, done.

No need to disconnect any hoses.

The hoses will sometimes get stuck when they haven't been pulled off in a while. Get a big pair of channellocks around the hose, and lightly twist it to break the seal. Should pull off easy after that.

Better yet and in order to not scare the hose use a scratch awl around the inside circumference in order to break the seal and then simply twist it off.
