Shit. While I was stationed in Fairbanks, AK, there was a 10 day period where the HIGH was -50. With no wind.
I believe it. My step-mom went to high school there on the AF base. The younger kids had outdoor recess until -20 and schools never closed, they became optional to attend once it hit -40.Originally Posted by irdave

My first year of college in Fairbanks, we had a cold spell that lasted for a month and the temps never went any higher then -50 (actual temps, not wind chill) and at one point we got down to -70.Originally Posted by irdave
