    Think its cold in Denver?

    Here's what we had this morning in the Fraser Valley when I went to work-

    I've already lost- a friend who lives in the Hurd Creek basin east of Tabernash got a picture of her thermometer at -47 EFFIN degrees at Dawn

    Shit. While I was stationed in Fairbanks, AK, there was a 10 day period where the HIGH was -50. With no wind.

    I believe it. My step-mom went to high school there on the AF base. The younger kids had outdoor recess until -20 and schools never closed, they became optional to attend once it hit -40.

    Yeah, for sure. We'd run outside down to -20F.

    My first year of college in Fairbanks, we had a cold spell that lasted for a month and the temps never went any higher then -50 (actual temps, not wind chill) and at one point we got down to -70.

    That along with a 30mph wind... is frickin cold.
