Couple of great upcoming Novice Hour opportunities! *Events are always posted in the MRA PR Forum


1. Still available this weekend Jan 30th: work the MRA booth at the Swap Meet, please visit the sign up thread on the PR forum for info.

2. MRA Banquet Feb. 5th: novice volunteers to help with set up, work the door, etc.


As a reminder, all novices are required to provide 4 hours of service to the club each year. At the rules committee meeting there was a motion to only require first year novices to provide hours, but that was not ratified. After reviewing more than 2 dozen events staffed by MRA racers last year, having to find emergency staff to score at Pueblo, etc--the board acknowledged that we just can't do it without a lot of help. Thank you to everyone who donates a little time to their favorite club!
