    Get a grip!

Maybe this is mundane, but I need to put new grips on my Ape. I still have the stock ones on my Ducati, which are ok, but I'd sure like something a little more comfortable, yet functional.

    What's your favorite?

I'm a big fan of the renthals. They are pretty small in circumference so they don't feel huge in your hand (something I never have experienced anyways, hehe). They are pretty sticky and come in different compounds. If you like to be stuck to the bars, get the soft compound. I like to slide my hand around on the bars so I much prefer the hard compound. Something like this.

Thanks Glenn.. I have those on my dirt bike, but I wanted something a little thicker and squishier on the Ape.

Otis likes the Galindo Superbike ones (http://www.galindodesigns.com/superbike.html) so I tried those and like 'em.

Glad to hear, Jim. I have a set sitting in my office, bound for the R6 next year. Those Renthals are too skinny for me, too. Throttle hand cramps within a few laps.
