    Need a bit of help

I was wondering if anybody had a spare shift lever to borrow for an 07/06 R6. I snapped mine off during the last weekend and ordered a new one, however, since the company is based out of South Africa it will not be here in time. I'm crossing my fingers it shows early, but figure it will not.

The lever is the rocker type that is not mounted to the footpeg but down to the swingarm bolt, or I have seen them to the old kickstand mt as well.

If anyone has one please let me know..... I'd appreciate it a ton!

Otherwise I'm going to have to look into a gear side complete rearset setup.

    Thanks

If you are in a pinch just use the stock one, not quite sure what you mean by rocker style but use the stock one and adapt.

well Bart I'm sad to say I have never even seen stock rearsets on the r6.... nor do I have one... not even sure what they look like

here is a link to a shift side picture... If some one has the shift lever in stock thats all i need.

notice the shift lever is not peg mounted like most rear sets...you guys have anything in stock down there that looks similar?

my set mounted to the swingarm bolt rather than the kickstand mount...which i do not have either... plus my current rod and quick shifter setup woiud be too short.

The fellow who totalled the r6 with a stuck throttle last race let me borrow his but his used a longer rod and mounted to the kickstand mount...and was the reason I had issues shifting and caught a few false neutrals.

do you have the pivot mount, and all you need is the shifter arm itself?

looks like it might not be too hard to just make...?

Yeah just need the arm... if I have time to get in the machine shop in the next two days it would take less than an hour to make it.... the issue for me is time...hopefully faster has something sitting in house...
