GSXR gearing

06 07 GSXR 600 owners.

For round 1 @ HPR I had 15 / 45 gearing. Stock is 16 / 43.

I felt like I was a gear tall the entire track and I was barely getting into 6th on the straight.

So now I got a 47 rear on there. I am worried it will be too much. I would like to get some feedback from owners of the same bike regarding what their gearing is.

word on the street for older (my body style) gixxer 600/750's is 15/47 is a good combo at HPR...once I get a longer chain, that's what I'll be running, because right now I am damn near lugging it around most of the track and barely in 5th on the back straight.
