    MRA vs. SCCA karting

Hopefully this is the right place to post this. If not, please move to appropriate place and don't throw too many things at me.

    So...

We are having, what we hope to be, the first of many competitions between the MRA and the SCCA.

The idea is to put down the fastest lap times that you can at Speed Raceway. We will take the fastest three laps (only one time from each driver) from each organization and add them together. The organization with the lowest combined time wins!! A plaque announcing the winner of the competition will be fixed at the racetrack.

Please check out the raceways website for any questions about the cars, track or prices. (www.speedraceway.com)

    EDIT:
    Prices are:
    $20 for a 12 lap race
    3 races for $50.00-- 3 x 12 lap races save $10.00
    5 races for $80--5 x 12 lap races save $25.00
    8 races for $120-- 8 x 12 lap races save $60.00

I just got done riding these puppies. They are pretty fast. Capable of doing 50mph and can drift through the corners if you are into that kind of stuff. :P

RSVP if you think you will be able to make this event. Even if you don't think you will race, come out and meet the other organization and swap races stories. It should be fun for everyone!!

RSVP at the Sol Performance FB event page..

Let's show the guys that two wheel racers are still better on four wheels!!

Sounds like we got a good chance to win! Those guys do spend a lot of time on 4 wheels already. Hope they don't have too much of an advantage already!
