Glenn told me when I was organizing last weeks track day that he wont give out the count anymore because of some drama with the car guys. It looks to be a beautiful day, I don't think there will be any problems, but call after noon on Saturday and he will have it on the machine. I blew my wad last week, but still trying to find an excuse to go. Good luck to you guys.

Hey guys, there's about 10 minutes left and we haven't made the 10...the curbing guys are finishing up as I'm typing and, honestly, the track is a lot dirtier as a result than I would have anticipated. I can brush/blow it this afternoon but I really think it needs a rainstorm to get good and clean.

Also, the sun is shining and it's about 45 degrees....but the wind is blowing 40 mph. Dunno if that will continue tomorrow...all I'm saying is that if we don't make it I don't want everyone to think they missed out on a "great" day at the track.

OK guys, sorry to say we didn't make it based on signups. As I mentioned above, though, the exits of turns 1, 6 and 8 are quite a mess so conditions would have been less than ideal. I was hoping the curbing construction would start Monday and finish Tuesday, as it happened they started Wednesday and are putting the finishing touches on T8 now.

Food has no taste. The sun has dimmed. The day has just diminished to seconds of agonizing despair. There is no reason to do anything else productive.


Tonight I will put the sumo tires on the 50 and go for a ride to try and satisfy a small portion of this addiction. Somebody find some cones and lets hit up a brightly lit parking lot for some balls to the wall 50 races.
