Raffles to Benefit Shane Turpin @ Daytona 200 Party this Fri

I will be holding 2 seperate raffles to benefit Shane; the 1st is a 50/50 raffle. For those of you that are not familiar with a 50/50 raffle, one winner will receive 50% of the money raised and the other 50% will go to Shane and his family. ** 3/5- 50/50 raffle amount is currently at $250 thanks to pre-sold raffle tickets!

The 2nd raffle will be for the following items:

HJC Helmet donated by Grand Prix Motorsports & Guns
Voucher for MSF Course donated by ABATE Colorado
Voucher for either a poster or a trackday cd donated by photographer Marc Williams

Five $20 gift certificates for Taste of Philly

**Since the MotoGP Race Suit size 46 in black/blue and silver donated by Jon Glaefke is not something that will fit or can be used by everyone, we are going to do an auction for it this evening.


Raffle tickets will be sold for $5 each and the drawing will be at the Daytona 200 Party at Lakewood Hooters on Friday night, March 5th between 8:30 and 9:00pm. This raffle will be done in conjunction with ABATE Colorado using their state gaming license. If you don't plan on being at Hooters the night of the drawing but would like to purchase raffle tickets, please PM me.

I will make it. I'm VERY excited for a bike night. I can't wait to see all of the people I have missed all winter long.

Moreover, Shane took care of me one day, with no/zero benefit to himself, to make sure my bad day became a "good day".

He barely knows me. I'll be there.

I want to thank everyone for their generosity last night. We raised $2355 for Shane Turpin! Special thanks to 50/50 cash raffle winner Doug Kahl who donated the winning amount, approximately $500, back to Shane. This morning I sent a cashier's check via certified mail to the Turpins.
I couldnt have pulled this off without those that helped out with the event: Jen Hom, Reean Waddle, Katie Schellinger, John Chadwick, Chris Stinson and everyone at ABATE. I also want to thank all the individuals and businesses that donated raffle items, Grand Prix Motorsports for sponsoring the event and Hooters for their hospitality.
