9News launches motorsports section

Way to go 9News! =D>

9News will now be covering local and national motorsports, and they've listed motorcycles as one of their interests. The MRA will be issuing press releases for this section. Please get the word out to other motorsports orgs you may be involved with.

Thank you 9News for being interested in our sport! This is actually thanks to Adele Arakawa, she's an avid driver with the SCCA and Porsche clubs and has been pushing for this section personally.

That is awesome! Maybe we could even get them to send a crew out to cover one of the races. If they can find time to cover high school sports from time to time I would think the MRA should be able to get in as well.

Give one of the reporters a 2 up ride at race pace. I have seen a couple clubs do this and it gets so much attention and positive praise.

I have seen how fast Shane is with a passenger and puke and poo can both be hosed off.

If any of them actually do ride, which I'm pretty sure they do, lets offer them some sighting/parade laps at the first race weekend (or whatever weekend they can make).
