The meeting they are going to decide that at is the Transition meeting from old board to new on Dec 7.

I'm happy to report that the rule change ratification process went well at the board meeting last night.

Jim and Casey are working on the final wording for the rule changes. To prevent confusion please give them a week or so to get that done. The changes when announced will be printed as they will appear in the 2010 rulebook.

Here is a summary. No further info is available until the final rules are written.

Approved rule changes:

Creation of the new Streetbike class
ROR GTO and GTU qualifying for grid positions
Forced advancement of Novices to Expert when finishing top 10 in Amateur classes
Eliminate exhaust spring wiring requirement
Twin rule modifications which Jim Brewer will have to give details on

Denied rule changes:

Production class
Remove sportsman
Combine ROR
Restructure Novice classes
Force only top 5 Novices to advance
No points for DNF
Require all members to serve 4hrs
