What kind of body armor does everyone use?

I'm looking to upgrade from my teknic back protector. Something with a chest piece maybe?

i used the dianese full armor system for a couple of years and it was nice, but now i use the rs taichi stock arm and shoulder armor and a knox chest and back protector. hit me up if you are going to be at the chicane track day next sunday and i'll let you try it on. the chest protector covers a lot of your ribs and sternum, and the back protector cover most all of your scapula and all the way down to your coccyx. it looks bulky but i think it is more comfortable than the dianese.

Dianese Safety Jacket. It's good to have the hard armor close to your body, then let the leathers move independent of the armor. This way the leathers get the road rash, not your skin from the leathers.

Impact Armor with the chest protector. Used it several times and it works well.
And custom made to your measurements.

I was about to buy the 661 Pressure Suit but was advised against it. Any reason why? I understand it's for mtn. biking but what's the diff under leathers?

    What do you think bluedevil?
