    Novice Hours

I only have 3 races until the season is over. Please tell me where you guys can use me most to work off my novice hours and where to do it. I only race on Saturdays. Do you need me at HPR August 1st? I love this organizition, I just need a little direction to where you need me before the season is over. Thank You, Justin Lamkin

    Justin -

If you only race on Saturday, can you work (corners) on Sunday?

You can work off your novice hours working corners on a Sunday. Look here http://www.mra-racing.org/index.cfm?action=marshal and/or post on the Corner Worker forum http://forums.mra-racing.org/viewforum.php?f=7, or contact Timmay Young, the Track Marshall to get more guidance.

Don't stress, talk to ANYONE in the pits about anything. We are always happy to have new blood in the system; if we appear standoffish its probably just that we are busy preparing for our next race.

Honestly, we don't need novices to work corners.
We need novices to either work off their hours doing PR or pay off their hours by sponsoring a cornerworker for the day ($50).

I would love to have you on August 1st or any other thing that is on the "In the Works" post or "Start Something" post. Those threads are edited often so they don't show up as a "new post" that you haven't read, but there's most likely something new on those threads on the initial post. We have had little response club wide on those threads to volunteer. C'mon guys! Hook me up with some stuff!

I've been adding $25 to the safety fund each time I race, and have been for last few years. Does this count????
