Motocysz Documentary

Probably a little outdated, but I woke up this morning and the Motocysz Documentary was on Discovery "Birth of a Racer". Thought it was pretty interesting. Good to see a MRA racer, Turpin, on the Motocysz bike at Miller.

Sigh...... I started working for them right at the tail end of the filming and missed getting into it.

But I did take away many other valuble things from it.

Before one of the tests at vegas where nick ienatsch rode it. We did a 36 hour straight thrash: build motor put motor on engine dyno run/tune motor then put motor in bike completely rebuild bike then put bike on chassis dyno then load bikes and everyone in the motorhome and drive straight 20 hours or so to vegas and set up at track. We did this many times and every time it consisted of getting two bikes assembled and two motors built. After every test the entire bike and engine were stripped down to nothing but the bolts for I nspection.

For the first 4 months I never had one day off(not even sundays) and worked 8-14 hour days ok average.
