    Rocky Mountain Mini Moto Race Schedule

    All races will be held at CRE Motorsports this year. There are three Saturday races that could not be avoided. No races conflict with the MRA schedule. Here are the dates;

    May 16 (sat), 31
    June 13 (sat), 21
    July 19
    Aug 2,23
    Sept 13, 26 (sat)

    The track owner had a triple-bypass, so things were held up for a little bit with the schedule.

    Go to rmminimoto.com and get on the mailing list for updates. If you plan on racing let the administration know what you'll be racing. The more people the cheaper the racing stays. The track fee this year is $35 for unlimited classes and practice. See ya there![/b]

    Well our first raceday went off pretty good considering we had folks out of town on business and some prior to the season injuries. Tracy S. managed to dominate all three classes on a basically stock Honda NSF100. The guys corner speed is unbelievable! All the classes were barnburners for the first race of the season, with some great riding by some newcomers The coolest bike of the day was a SSR B3 with a SASS worked KX 65 engine that could run with 85s ridden by Jason M.

    Going to be another good weekend for mini bike racing. If you have an XR50 with street tires, or any other bike 150cc or less come check out Rocky Mountain Mini Moto. Just about an hour away from Denver, very cheap entry fees, SICK track and tons of fun.

    Young Blood / Syndicate will be down there dominating. Bring your bike and join the fun. Only $35 per day and you can enter up to 6 races, includes morning practice. This shit is awesome!!!

    Check the website rmminimoto.com for the schedule. There are only two Saturday races this season (the first Saturday races ever). Our race days do not conflict with the MRA race weekends by design!

    You don't need an NSR to race. Pit bikes do pretty well. The NSRs and NSFs have the handling advantage, but the pitbikes with four stroke engines have the power spread ( and then there is "Mad Hammers" SASS works engine). It makes for some interesting racing, kinda like the 2T to 4T battles of yesteryear.

    Get a nsr or nsf if you want to really improve your riding skills. Or you could get a dirtbike, but there are tracks that grow potatoes for those. Got horsepower don't handle. Come on out. We do have a lot of fun.

    hells ya!!!!!!!... any mini would be fun!!!!! im bringin my 97 z50 with a 110 motor and street tires for next round. i also run a ysr w/ a rt 110 air cooled motor and that ogm w/ ths sass ported kx65 motor jimmyd into the pit bike frame ( see pic above ) i can run ever race for 35 bucks. and i havent changed my tires in 2 years. nor has any one ... they last real good and stick real good too.....

    you will not be disapointed if you come try....... ive seen older kx65s and kx60 for 350-500 bucks and you can get tires and wheels (12in) spooled onto your hubs for like 300 ( super sweet mini for under a gee that can race in 4 of the 6 races of the day and be very compeditive) or run cr 80 or 85 in the open f4,5 class. there is a bran new nsr on the craigs iv talked the dude down to 1800 bucks its never had gas in it... perfect.... or even a stock crf50 is a hoot cause a fgerw of us bring them just to crash and rub elbows.. lol do it do it do it
