Ducati 848 race bike

I'm posting this for a friend. He had planned to do some racing with this bike this year, but the military has him headed to DC instead. I've bought two bikes from him in the past and I've had nothing but excellent experiences and great bikes. Here it goes with his description. Please contact him for more details.

2008 Ducati 848-Professionally built by Brad Phillips / Frank Shockley of Touring Sport Ducati and raced only twice by Doug Polen in Moto-St

-689 miles (has not even been registered with Ducati--still carries original warranty)

-Clear title (in hand)

-Never been down or wrecked

-BRAND NEW Michelin Power One tires

-Pit Bull rear / front stand w/ fork adapter

-Catalyst bodywork (Dzus mounted) with 1098 airtubes

-Profesionally painted

-Brand new windscreen

-Belts and valves checked-all within spec

-Power commander installed by Mark Sutton at the Duc Shop and tuned for vp 4.2

-Radiator and oil cooler guards

-Afam quick change sprocket carrier

-D.I.D. gold o-ring chain and new front sprocket- 520 (spares incl)

-Front end has a quick change axle and all captive spacers on wheel-the front rotors are free'd up and are beveled to help in quick change

-Vesrah RJL pads

-Forks have had Ohlins 20mm kits installed by Rick at Cogent Dynamics

-TTX Ohlins rear shock and a Ducati performance billet ride height adjuster

-Ohlins steering damper mounted like the 1098's with a steel mount welded to frame

-Swatt rear sets, Swatt clipons

-Ducati performance Gp shifter

-Termi carbon fiber slip-ons and performance ECU

-Speedy Moto frame sliders and engine cover

-Custom fairing bracket that is powdercoated black.

-The rear brake rotor has been lightened by Jimmy Chance in Savannah

-Ducati Corse performance racing seat



I am selling this bike after owning it for only 1.5 months due to military relocation
