That gave me goose bumps! It's amazing how fast it's coming together. Fewer reference points without the pot holes we're used to...

I hate to bring rain to the party, but it seems a little too good to be true ops: How accessable is this going to be? I am currently without trackbike but the wheels turning if this is going to be another Second Creek type thing where you could ride it pretty much all the time. How's it all gonna work?

You can't rain on this parade. 8)

Operationally, it will be at least as good a 2nd Creek - there CAMA owned the lease to the track, here CAMA owns the track. Bikes will almost certainly have one night a week to ourselves, just as at 2nd Creek.

Functionally, it could be argued that there are trade-offs: 2nd Creek could be run in both directions but HPR will probably only be run clockwise. 2nd Creek was also probably closer for most people. Then there's the comparison of 2nd Creek's 10 - 20 (?) year old asphalt compared to BRAND SPANKING NEW stuff at HPR.

    Get that bike!

    First - I'm stoked -

Second, comparing this track to 2nd Creek is a bit like comparing LaJunta to Road America. Sheesh .. this place is going to be fantastic.

My appreciation to Gecco and to all the CAMA people that have worked their butts off to make this happen.

I think once word gets out on how cool this layout is, our membership is going to shoot through the roof. Yipee

I have to agree! Three Cheers for Glenn and all he has done to make this happen! And three cheers to the rest of the CAMA Board for all their efforts as well! I have zero doubt that this track will certainly be recognized nation wide in the years to come as one of the greats! MILLER... Eat our dust!!!
