Interesting thread Clarkie. I really don't think we(theMRA) are in need of their entry fee money. I mean come on, is six entries really gonna help us? No. If they don't want to race with us, that's fine. They got the invite because a small club like RMSS probably could not feasibly rent PPIR and not lose money. Hope to see all of you guys there to enjoy having our big track back. Glenn #62

I apologize if my post comes off as arogant. I reacted to what I heard from another racer which after speaking with Tony was incorrect. I posted my views on a public forum so the post was not deleted.

There was no "club bashing" intended. I hope one day to be back racing with the MRA, soon. You are free to form whatever opinion of our club or myself based on those posts and that's fine.

Glen, You are correct in assuming we cannot afford to race the big track and with no dirt that is not an appealing option regardless. However, our last event had 122 entries not 6.

    Have a successful race season.

I think everyone has lapses in their better judgement, the attached thread is a direct example of that.

From what I saw on Saturday, and talking with folks who have been to other big name tracks in this country, HPR will one of the best, most interesting, and challenging - not to mention beautiful - tracks in the entire US of A. It's like an "E" ride on steroids. Unbelievable! The term "lapping the circuit" will become an oxymoron, one not likely to be used in the same breath as "HPR".

And if that isn't crazy enough for you, it's just down the road from the "PSYCHO" motel.

Thanks, Tammy, for the cool pictures - and Glenn for a fantastic day.
