    ***CORNERWORKER APPRECIATION THIS WEEKEND***

For those of you that were unable to attend the last race weekend or the MRA general meeting at the Walnut Room:

The races on September 20/21 will host the annual Corner Worker Appreciation Day!

For those of you that are new, and a reminder to the seasoned veterans, Corner Worker Appreciation Day is the time of season that the racers donate swag to the corner staff as a sign of your gratitude for their long, hot, and tiring efforts to keep you guys, and gals safe while you race.

Here is an idea of what some racers have donated in the past...

Beer (yes, it had to be listed first...)
    Hats
    Sunglasses
    Clothing (T's, sweat shirts, etc.)
    All types of riding apparel
    Bike parts and accessories
Gift cards (resturaunts, shopping malls, etc.) - very popular
Gift certificates to local vendors/shops (remember, lots of our Corner Crew are riders)
    Beer

Having been on the receiving end of an appreciation day, I can tell you that the most popular items to go are beer (duh), gift cards/certs, shades, and apparel.

Thank you all in advance for showing your support!
