Hastings Rooms for July

Hey Nick/Tony/Kip-

Are there rooms booked for corner marshals in Hastings for July 12-13? I recall Tony said there was a softball tourney that weekend in a prior post. I checked Hotels.com and all I could get was Grand Island rooms. I know it's 3 weeks out but I checked since I can't find a single room this weekend in Pueblo, either.

tom I am sure Tony will post up on this in the morning when he gets internet access, but I think he mentioned that he had rooms in Hastings for corner workers.....

We have 8 rooms this time, I called Erika this morning to confirm.

Here's what I need to make this go better than last time:

First and Last name of BOTH room occupants.

All rooms doubled-up please, no single occupants if at all possible - even if you arrive separately.

Cell phone numbers for all room occupants.

You all need to pick up your receipts on Sunday morning and bring them to me at the track so I can get reimbursed.

You must corner-work both days for the MRA to pay for your room.

Erika and I will be there for sure. I heard a bunch of maybe's last weekend. Most were bitching about the cost of gas to get there and back.

Just to inform all of you...

I know the price of gas is hurting all of us and I call on all of you to carpool as many people as will fit (comfortably though, it IS a 6 hour drive!)! I've had phone calls from several interested parties but they can't afford to make it on their own. Consider this thread a carpool meet up if needs be. I am also going to post a request in the general forum that any racers that are going to Hastings anyway, and have an extra seat, offer to give a guy (or gal!) a lift to and from!
