Don't have a generator for tire warmers!!!

    Hello all,
I was wondering if there is a means of hooking up tire warmers other than a generator. At this time I don't have a generator so is there any other way to get power to the warmers Any and all help will be much appreciated in this matter.
    Sincere thanks,

There are no power hookups in Pueblo. You could possibly find someone who has a spare outlet for you. Maybe check craigslist and find a cheap generator.

I have also seen a few people use Power Inverters as well, but cost wise I think you might as well buy a Generator? 8)

Thanks for the responses I really appreciate the information. Joe and Sasha have offered to help me out if I can't come up with a generator before race day...
    Thanks again,

How do I hook my warmers up to this? I figure with the wind in Pueblo, it should make enough wattage to power a few pits.

    Edda,

You can pit with me if you like... I won't be there until Saturday, tho. If that's an issue, give me a call... 720-933-1690...

I'm pitting with another racer and between us, we should have power to spare.

I have a 5000 watt beast of a generator, use to run 3 or 4 sets of
    tirewarmers.
Are you near the Fort Collins area?

I must say the response for help where a generator is concerned is overwhelming, and I really do appreciate all the offers. I'm still looking for a cheap generator before the trip however, I will definitely take someone up on their offer if one is not found. Hi Dan actually I'm coming from Albuquerque and will try to be there on Friday for track assistance. Kate thanks for your kind offer as well sorry I forgot to get with you at the last race day. We can now stay in touch via the forum...
Once again my sincere thanks to everyone for their offer,
See you all in a couple of weeks
