if the rule book only says 06 & 07 does that mean the problem is somewhat fixed or the sliders are not available on the 08?

I test rode an 08 R6, and from what I could tell, the new tank is not going to be any more safe than the previous design.
it's not, they just havent started catching fire yet
I'm just poking fun at a manufacturer but........... it would seem Yamaha's R'6 bikes are not quite in tune as their pianos. Issues surrounding tank design, fuel and fire, should be remedied ASAP. The problem shouldn't be inherent from one model year to the next and the next. If it ain't red, keep it in the shed. :twisted: :twisted:
