    Good News About MRA Contingency!

    Here is the new 2008 Michelin Contingency Program for the MRA...

    The good news is that:
    Michelin has upped the payout for 2008 !
    Michelin pays to 5th place!
    Michelin has added Modern Vintage GTU/GTO classes !!

    Holy smokes - Just when some manufacturers cut contingency, Michelin raises it. Its going to be a good year for you Michelin riders!

    Look at how much 6th place pays!.... :lol:


    Seriously though, that's a pretty sweet payout for top 5.

    Okay, now I've got the dilema. Mr. B pays out more, and deeper. So should I say a big fat thanks to all the guyw who are coming in to "my" classes with 250 gp machinery. Cripes, I think I've moved back to about eigth place or so without even firing the bike up!!

    Nah, I could always take the option of learning to corner faster, but that would entail actual work!

    Se ya at the banquette, it looks like it will be another fun year!!!!!

    Be happy about every lightweight bike you see on the grid. There used to be a FII class full of 250s and a FIII class full of just 125s....Ah, those were the good ol' days.

    Seeing a bunch of LW bikes on the grid again ridden by guys who aren't afraid of corner speed would be a beautiful thing no matter what brand of tires they are on!

    I was making a joke dave, if you look at the 6th place columns, the $ amount is huge.

    But we all know that this is the total for 1-5 place.
