    Need some trackday tires

Can anyone suggest as local tire supplier? I need a new race compound tire preferably Michelin or Dunlop for a track-only CBR600. Haven't been to the track in ages, when did Van Mar stop supplying? I live in Northglenn so close would be nice.

Imperial Sportbikes right in Denver are the Dunlop race tire distributors now. https://www.imperialsportbikes.com/

I recommend tires from Oscar of Sol Performance Pirelli. Great rubber and even greater customer service!! https://solperformance.com/collections/all

Thanks for the good words Tim.

rrslave, The Diablo PRO tires were made for the track day/novice guys. The tires last forever and you don't need to use warmers have to run a generator for them.

I know you weren't looking for pirellis but they could provide a good option for your situation. I stock them in Loveland and also ship for free to Mike at Quik Cycles.

Either way, hope you have fun back on the track!

Sorry to jump in, but those Diablo PRO tires sound perfect for a novice on a 250 like myself. I'll keep you in mind over the next few weeks!

Oscar (Pirelli) also has a pretty sweet contingency program set up that you should check out. I'm not sure what the other tire guys are doing but that is definitely something to consider.

Our Michelin dealer is Jeff Healy #406 and the new Michelin Evo compounds are amazing, super sticky and get plenty of laps out of them!! You'll love these new Michelin tires!

I tried the Dunlop Q3's just to get used to my new trackbike and they worked but I'm looking for today's equal of the old Dunlop 208GP and Pilot power race. Not sure why I'm having such a hard time.

Are the Diablo Pro's and Michelin EVO's similar to the Q3's?
