    sv650 slicks

Looking for some slicks for my 1st gen sv650.
I'm a noob so if anyone can point me in the right direction or possibly tell me what choices I have, that'd be great (in my Bill Lumbergh voice).
Tire sizes are 120 and 160.
    Thanks!

    Hi RP,

Welcome to the club. We have some great tire vendors supporting the club. See the vendor section. They can help you find the right tire. At our level they all offer amazing performance.

Not knowing how new you are to the track it is hard to say. If you are just starting out, save your money on slicks and work on seat time, and perhaps some coaching. When your laptimes improve slicks will gain you that last edge.

Many brands now offer a street legal "track day" tire that provide great grip and value like Bridgestone BT003, and BT016. Which is what I used my rookie season on my SV.

    Welcome and have fun

Imperial Sportbikes, the Dunlop vendor, should be able to get them for you.

    Sir,
i do ok on an SV, and could help you out with proper SV slicks. My recommendation is a set of Dunlops from imperial sport bikes. If you want to try a set of take offs first, we can work something out.

Hello rockerphotographer (sorry, I don't know your name via your post.) I have 4 sets of SV slicks in stock now and DOTs as well in the case your in the market for them. Have a look at the link below. If you buy them online I can deliver them to the next MRA event of mount them before hand as well. If you rather just buy them at the track then I will be bringing all my inventory to each round as well. Let me know if you have any questions.

I have a brand new rear shinko 160/60/17 slick that I would sell you for 75$. I can bring it to the first round.
