I'm selling my 2013 Honda CBR500R Production Race Bike. I bought this bike new from Sun at the beginning of last season.
This thing is a BLAST to ride. This race-winning bike is always at the front of the production cup grid. I've spent the last 2 seasons making this bike easy to ride fast. A lot of time and care was put into the geometry and suspension setup. You can confidently push this bike hard and get away with a lot. Drag elbows confidently! This is the perfect bike for anyone wanting to hone their skills and take their racing ability to the next level. These race proven Hondas are the same production bikes raced in the European Junior Cup.
Here are some of the additions (all production cup legal):
- Sharkskinz race bodywork with full vinyl wrap.
- Rear sets with GP Shift.
- Clip ons
- Folding levers
- Full Leo Vince exhaust with Carbon Fiber can.
- New EBC Brake Pads.
- Brake lever guard
- Race Tech 0.95 springs.
- Race Tech gold compression valve emulators
- Modified fork damping rods to allow better tuning of compression and rebound. Adjust compression with emulators, rebound with oil weight. Currently set with 10 wt oil, so suspension damping doesn't change throughout the day (same cold and hot).
- Custom rear linkage to lift rear.
- Modified rear shock (front and rear suspension are well matched).
Just over 2000 miles on it. Oil changed every 300 miles.
This bike has never been down.
I also have all of the original street fairings in perfect condition (removed immediately after purchase). Clean title. Street ready if you so desire.
