    Previous Minutes:

    Officer’s reports:
    Ø President: Jim Wilson-
    The Walnut room is doing renovations; Blake Street Tavern has been nice enough to take us tonight.
    We are also having our board meetings here
    HPR Deposits have been made Rachael sent the other check last week
    PPIR waiting on contracts from them, Paul should have them to us soon
    Pueblo Have contract reviewing & amending
    They have removed some stuff from turn 10
    They want to paint a line down the concrete
    If they paint it we will not race there!!!!
    They sent the contract but we have amended it.
    Deposits are %50 when contracts are due
    Pueblo wants us to pay %50 & then pay the rest 1week in advance… We won’t be doing that
    Rain Clause- If we race on sat & Sunday but it rains Sunday afternoon the rest of the money owed will be prorated
    Insurance last week Jim met with the guy he signed the contracts gave them a check & we pay them quarterly
    Racewurx- We are working on getting all the lap times posted
    Don’t forget to buy your license price goes up from $200-$250 on March 16th 2014
    Announcing- Sat Dave can’t cause he has work but he can do Sunday, We need someone that can do commentary… (Sam Coleman??)
    Social Media we are on twitter & Instagram now
    Don’t go on FB & blast a sponsor, we rely on our sponsors to support the MRA & our members
    Last year we had 26 sponsors, they pay for trophies but the money also goes towards the award ceremony

    Marijuana-not allowed in the MRA
    We have changed the rulebook
    Racers are responsible for anyone in your pit
    We can’t police everyone but we will enforce the rules
    We are going to start strider races at lunch for the kids
    Your Board Of Directors is busting their ass right now by the time we reach the season we want to have it under control.
    Everyone on the Board works a full time job so this is our 2nd job, if you call us or email us & we don’t get back to you right away we will just give us a few days. Please don’t blow up our phones or emails

    Thank you to everyone that signed up for their license
    Money is good drugs are bad
    We have had about 80 People sign up
    If Aaron hasn’t found you yet see Aaron
    If you’re a new racers you have to wait till the race School
    RRW- It is $20 for a 1yr subscription
    Nik handles the RRW ads
    There is a spot of the forums about contingency
    We have some things out there wait to hear back on things then we

    Ø VP of Rules & Tech: - Carl Sorensen-
    Ø There have been a lot of changes to the rule book
    Ø If you have any rules & Tech questions contact Carl or Shannon
    Ø Tech will be at the last RV spot last garage by the carports

    Ø Treasurer: Rachael Zell-
    Ø We did just pay out insurance
    Ø Most of the rounds made money R6 & R7 killed us. R7 was when the flooding happened.
    Ø We did make money overall for the season 4330.50
    Ø Bal 15785.61 that is after bills have been paid
    Ø Safety Fund- -450

    Ø Secretary: Jen Grosse-
    Ø Novice hours check in with Jen after the meeting
    Ø You get 30min for every General meeting you attend for up to 2hrs the other 2hrs will need to be worked off or paid off.
    Ø You can work events, CW, help in the race day office or pay for them, its $25 for 1 hour.

    Ø New Rider Director: Jeff Brown –
    Ø Our new incoming Board members are doing a great job, they have been working very hard
    Ø We have 8 officially signed up for the race school
    Ø I have had a lot of calls about the race school we hope to have about 30signed
    Ø The race School is the best time for the instructors to work one on one with you have the full day, super street is great but you only get 20min of ”on track instruction”

    Ø Track Marshal: Chris Sorensen-

    Ø We are getting ready to do inventory on the truck
    Ø The safety fund money went to the quad last year
    Ø CW sign up
    Ø All the information is on the CW Marshal Forum
    Ø If you bring a CW you will get a $20 credit on your account
    Ø We NEED an Equipment Manager they need to have a good driving record, be dependable pay is $200 per weekend


    Ø Rider Reps:
    · PR: Louden David –
    · E-displays did a bunch of work on them this winter
    · Have 4 E-displays that are ready to be set up we just need a place to put them.
    · Motorcycle Expo, it was good spoke to a lot of people, hope they will come out to the track
    · Louden will not be at the next meeting he will be out promoting the Superstreet to another club
    · If you are interested in working with media or events contact Louden

    · Rulebook: Shannon Moham –
    · If you notice in the past a PDF file has been online this year we are going to print the Rulebook & everyone will get a copy of the rule book
    · Ricky is working on the advertising & layout of the rulebook
    · Mark Nudelman is handling the print


    · Contingency/Press: Nik Lenski-
    · We have done a press release for the race school
    · Going to be doing one next month about the 4 hour endurance

    · Trophies: Joe Lagalbo-
    · This last month we have been busy we have come up with new prices for different sponsorships etc…
    · There is no Program this year
    · We will be placing advertisements in the rulebook
    · Ricky is our sales person, he will be going to shops & dealers to get sponsorships
    · Joe is the main point of contact for Ricky
    · We are looking at trophy ideas
    · Will have examples by our next board meeting
    · Joe is going to do INTRO TO RACING March 29th 2014 at the Walnut room
    · There will be tons of information for anyone that’s interested
    · Ricky-
    · Will still be knocking on doors about advertisements or sponsorships for 2014
