    Important Update: AMA at PPIR

    To All the Corner Crew:

Below is some important information about the upcoming AMA event at PPIR this weekend.

    ----------------------
    WHITE PANTS:

All of us (MRA Board and Raceday Staff) really want the crew to present a professional image for the AMA race. (We'll be on camera) This means everyone needs to wear white pants.

--If you need to buy some, I've seen white jeans recently at Sears and Penny's. Also canvas painters pants can be found at Lowes, Home Depot, and almost any paint store (Sherwin Williams etc).

    ----------------------
    PRIORITY FOR WORKING:

If we have too many crew members (i.e. more than the number of credentials available) Then the following rules will apply:

Those who work AMA on Fri will have priority for Sat/Sun. Likewise, those who work Sat will have priority placement for Sunday.

Also, on a day-by-day basis, those who show up on-time will have priority. This is especially important at this AMA event because we must meet outside the fence and everyone must have a pass to enter. Once we go inside, there will be no way for you to obtain a pass.

Once we've worked through the above priority schema, and if we still have too many, then those who have worked the most events in 2005 and 2004 will be next in line.

    ----------------------
    WHAT TIME TO BE THERE:

6:30-7:00am: Corner Crew Arrive and Sign-In

7:00am: MRA Truck with crew rolls inside the gate
--If you aren't on the truck, you will NOT be able to get in.

7:00-7:30am: Corner Assignments, Equipment Check, Etc
    7:30-8:00am: PPIR Safety Meeting
8:00am: MRA Truck rolls to station crew on corners
8:30am: Track Hot (except on Fri, 9:00 am)
