Will headlights be required? Yanno, just in case Superstreet runs long again.

Nevertheless, I will be there to capture the action - maybe at the top of turn 7 .. before everyone falls over from exhaustion on the climb?

Oh ... all photo sales proceeds of the bicycle race will be donated to the cause!

    FWIW: I am 31, not 37.

And I don't own a pair of wheels (motor or motor-less) that actually work, so you can scratch my name from the list.

Sorry, you look closer to 37.

Kidding... You are welcome to borrow one of my bikes if interested and I'll even throw in a full kit of spandex! Otherwise, I'll take you off the list.

PS... I'll update everyone else as well.

I'm in, if I can remember how to ride one of these damn things by then.

I also gave the medics a heads up, they will have extra supplies of gauze and sarcastic shit talking for anyone needing it.

Ok, I've started grouping regular class riders vs. dirty hipster class (fixed/single speed) riders.

I don't feel like buying another trophy, so can someone please donate one can of warm PBR to act as the trophy for that class?

    Thanks --

***edit*** Great news! In addition to the one warm can of PBR, Hot Carl has offered a 20-minute leg massage to the winner of the dirty hipster class.

Alternatively, to save anyone the pain and embarassment of a Hot Carl inner thigh massage, I propose the following...

Riders in the Dirty Hipster Class (fixed/single speed bikes) start on the grid. Riders in the Regular (open) class have to participate in Le Mans-style start just behind the grid. This should give the slower fixed gear bikes a small head start.

    Work???

Now we gotta normalize the grid to make it a spec class in the interest of fairness?

Well in the interest of 'normalizing' the grid you have to start 22 seconds behind for every Olympic event you participated in.

    There -solved.

We don't disqualify Shane for having been in WSBK, so I vote that you should participate...

I say we just give this guy the worst bike we can find in the paddock and see how he does.

Remember when Jacek (sp?) used to ride around and cause havoc on that small pink girl's bmx bike with handlebar streamers? Something like that would work just fine.

We tried that with Turpin at an MMP pit bike race during a Racing 2 Save Lives event some years back, by making him simultaneously race on two teams at once. Fucker still almost won the damn thing.

Besides, sneakysandbagger here will be allowed to race, but someone will protest his entry because he's not in the "expert drunken bicycle race class" despite his past achievements. #-o
