I go close to 200lbs with all my gear on. And though I may not be able to hang with Hammer, shramy and t-bag, I am also not a slow guy.
The 250 will teach you corner speed and traffic management.
You will have fun and do well to start on one. Then stepping up to the 600 or liter bikes will be easier. I did it backwards, but I dont listen very well.... :roll:
Come out and watch, ask questions to those of us on them (green number 915 for me) and bring your wife. Get her comfy about it and have her see all other SO's helping in the pits and even the other women racing.
