WERA has ruled they are not SS legal, what is the MRA ruling on this :D

If you were able to replace the the battery with something other than OEM, it would be listed in on of the following sections on page 8, but its not.

2.2.2 Class Equipment Requirements,
B. The following items may be added or replaced with other than OEM parts:
C. The following items may be replaced by parts of unrestricted origin:

No go in SS. Definitly a performance advantage with the weight savings.

I didnt think so but I am not sure how many SS knew this, it will be easy to check then :wink:

So the same goes for putting a smaller OEM battery off another bike then....

So, what I am reading is that there is a market for a company to put the Lithium batteries into otherwise stock looked lead-acid plastic boxes...
