View Full Version : Just got an Email - Weekend pre-season practice at PPIR

We will be hosting a bike test and tune on March 24th. Invited are MRA, Rocky Mtn Mini Moto and all SuperMoto riders. The Mini Moto guys will be testing a layout for a small road course using part of the big course.
Pass the word on. $100 per rider, includes day garage and power.

Damn, will not make this. I had the whole place to myself for the whole morning last year....was an incredible feeling. Run for a while, pull in to the garage and then silence............make a few adjustments, hit the banking again......back to the garage and silence............very strange. Then spent the PM chasing a liter bike around......PPIR is really a fun track.

I know that dead silence. I was there alone once, came in for a break and ended up falling asleep for about 45min in full leathers and ear plugs still in.

Weather report is looking like 79 degrees. I can't wait! I sure hope they are right.

$100 per minimoto is pretty steep. How does it work with sharing the track with big bikes?

They are wrong....pretty sure the weekend after i went 1.8 quicker.... :D Must be something that only happens to guys that have minis in their garage

I'm planning on being there, but might not have a bike ready. I know that Joe LoGalbo is planning on attending along with Ken Yee. I also know that Jason Madama is planning on being there.

There have been other rumblings about people wanting to go - so I don't suspect you'll be flying solo

I will be there around lunch time with one other bike. Can't wait. This weather has been great!
